Happy Retirement Pn Ng Siew Tuan, PK Kokurikulum (1999-2008)

At the ceremony the Principal, Mr Gan Peng Kheang and the PTA Chairman, Cr Chang Kim Loong, AMN,(speech text) thanked Pn Ng Siew Tuan for her commitment and contributions to the school. A number of programmes were specially lined up to entertain our Guest of Honour, Pn Ng.

Pn Ng was born in Batu Gajah, Perak and finished her secondary education in 1972. She later obtained her Degree and Diploma in Education from University Malaya. Pn Ng was posted to SMKTD In 1999 and was the Head of English panel. Pn Ng was appointed as the Senior Assistant of Co-Curriculum of SMKTD in 2003. During her tenure as the Senior Assistant of Co-Curriculum she spearheaded the 2006 Silver Jubilee Carnival and Jogathon.  Her dedication and commitment also saw the smooth running of the annual Sports Day, Cross Country, Co-Curricular day, Foot Drill Competition and many other co-curricular  activities.

Thank you very much Pn Ng. We appreciate all dedication your contributions.You fully deserved this special day and as you journey on, may good health, peace and joy be with you . Enjoy your retirement!

 “SMK Taman Desa will always remain special in my heart for several reasons. Firstly, it is the school where I served the longest, for 10 years. Secondly, I am extremely proud of the progress this school has achieved in recent years. This year SMK Taman Desa won 2^nd place in the Lonjakan Saujana Competition at the national level and also garnered three Excellence Awards for SPM at state level. Thirdly, I am grateful and impressed by the generous contributions and sincere support of the PIBG Chairman Cr Chang Kim Loong, AMN and committee members of PIBG. The Arena Wira hall, the Laman Rekreasi ( Ping Pong room) and other physical upgradings are due to the efforts of PIBG. Lastly, I am thankful to the Principal, Mr. Gan Peng Kheang and all the teachers of SMK Taman Desa for their friendship, support and cooperation. May SMK Taman Desa continue to improve and achieve greater success.

To all the students, always love and cherish your parents, work hard and be respectful to your teachers. Finally I look forward to retirement and having more time for gardening, reading and perhaps travelling.”
